‘If I catch you, nobody will save you’ – Tonto Dikeh warns impersonator

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a stern warning to those impersonating her on social media, especially on TikTok, threatening legal action. The movie star revealed that a lady is impersonating her on TikTok and scamming her fans by extorting money from them. She warned that if the lady is caught, she would do everything legally possible to ensure that she is jailed regardless of any public outcry. Speaking in a video broadcast, Dikeh said, “I know my impersonator is a girl because we have been trailing you, the police are on you. “To the girl who is impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money from people, scamming people and also scamming me because you are taking my contents and posting on your TikTok page not as a fanpage, but posing to be me. “I just want to tell you that when I catch you, nobody is going to save you. Only Jesus will save you. Because I’m not the kind of person that social media would make me back down. You will definitely go to jail.”

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Bunmi Akinnanu, best known for her hit song “Omije Ojumi,” has passed away. The news of her death was confirmed on Tuesday evening by a close source familiar with the singer’s family. As of now, the family has not released an official statement, though further details are expected in the coming days. Akinnanu’s death follows months of public appeals for prayers and divine intervention as she battled a serious leg ailment. In late 2025, a video of the singer at G.F. David Ministries in Ibadan, Oyo State, circulated online, showing her seated with her leg extended while prayers were offered for her recovery. The footage drew widespread attention and concern over the severity of her condition. During the service, the presiding cleric revealed that Akinnanu had been experiencing persistent bleeding in her leg, prompting an intense prayer session. ‘All my girlfriends know each other’ – Singer Harrysong

Nigerian singer, Harrysong has revealed that he is now in a polygamous relationship following his separation from his wife, Alexer Peres. Speaking in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the father of two stated that every one of his current girlfriends is acquainted with all the others. The Reggae Blues crooner insisted that there was nothing wrong with polygamous relationship, stressing that American singer Neyo has three wives. “I am currently in a polygamous relationship. Every one of his current girlfriends is acquainted with all the others. They are all doing well. And we are happy. “Everybody is being treated right and respectfully. Everyone willing join. No one was forced. Neyo has three wives. Just do whatever makes you happy. So don’t force your opinion on anyone,” he said. Funke Akindele’s ‘Behind the Scene’ becomes first Africa film to gross N2 billion

Famous Nigerian filmmaker, Funke Akindele’s newly released movie, ‘Behind the Scene’ has become the first Nollywood film to surpass N2 billion in cinema sales. FilmOne, a leading Nigerian film distributor, announced that Behind the Scenes’ movie grossed N2,103,039,706 in just one month of its release. The distributor in a post on X, revealed that the new achievement makes Funke Akindele Africa’s most commercially successful filmmaker in Africa, highest grossing producer, writer, and director in West Africa’s history. The actress was also named as the first filmmaker to rank number one for three consecutive years at the African box office. Also celebrating the achievement, the actress, in a video on her Instagram page on Monday evening, said “we have every reason to thank God. 2 billion and counting is not a joke. Ladies and gentlemen, Behind the Scenes to the world.” “Joy overflows, my heart is full of gratitude to God and my amazing fans. ‘I’ll never marry a Nigerian’ – Peller vows after breakup with Jarvis

TikTok star, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has vowed never to marry a Nigerian following his messy breakup with fellow Nigerian content creator, Jarvis. Speaking during a recent livestream, Peller opened up about his encounter with a demure lady from eSwatini, whom he described as his ideal woman. He explained that the lady is not only beautiful but also calm and collected. The 20-year-old added that he is ready to go to the Southern African nation and pay the lady’s bride price. “I recently encountered a lady from eSwatini, she’s not only very beautiful but also calm and collected. “I will never marry a Nigerian. eSwatini is my new target for finding a wife. I will go to the country and marry that lady. I will give her father 17 cows,” he said. "My Father Doesn`t Have a Positive Impact in My Life," says Portable.

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, has called out his father, Mr Olalomi, accusing him of taking away his clothes and other personal belongings. In a video broadcast, the Zazu crooner while comparing his dad to late singer Mohbad’s father, claimed that his dad has been after his possessions and properties. Portable stated that his life was more stable when his father was not in the picture. He explained that his dad did not sponsor his education nor pay for his skill acquisition fee when he was learning tailoring. Expressing his frustration, Portable said, “My dad’s presence in my life is doing me more harm than good. My life was better and more stable when he wasn’t in the picture. “When I was younger, he didn’t take care of me. He did not send me to school. He did not pay for my tailoring apprenticeship fee. “His presence is affecting my life negatively. My dad is like Mohbad’s dad. He has taken all my shoes and clothes and he is just after my properties.”

Popular Nigerian Tiktoker, Peller, has expressed regret over his inability to speak good English. The streamer made this known during a recent live stream session with his colleague, Enzo. Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has recorded another major commercial triumph as her latest cinema release, Behind The Scenes, grossed ₦1.77 billion at the Nigerian box office, further reinforcing her dominance in the country’s film industry. Family announces burial arrangements for late actress Allwell Ademola

The family of the late actress Allwell Ademola has announced her burial arrangements. This comes exactly one week after her sudden death. The family in a viral statement on the Internet, announced that Allwell will be buried at Atan cemetery in Yaba, Lagos state on Friday, January 9, 2026.
